The Department of Microbiology and Plant Pathology's weekly Plant Pathology 250 seminar series is presented this week by Nancy Her, Plant Pathology Graduate Student, UC Riverside.

Seminar Title: "Outer Membrane Vesicle Biogenesis and their Role in Plant Host Immunity"

Biography: Nancy is a third year PhD student in the Roper Lab researching on outer membrane vesicles (OMVs) of Xylella fastidiosa. Her focus is on the  biogenesis of OMVs and its potential role in plant host immunity.
